Reliance Jio is set to launch a new AI-based language platform
Reliance Jio is set to launch a new AI-based language platform, aiming to make technology more accessible to people. At the same time, Mukesh Ambani has announced a massive investment of ₹7 trillion in Gujarat over the next five years, highlighting the company’s long-term commitment to innovation, growth, and development in the state.
“We all know that the world is changing very fast. The geopolitical situation is creating new challenges, including some unexpected turbulence. What is reassuring for India is that these challenges cannot touch or trouble our people,” said Mukesh Ambani after announcing his investment plans.
Speaking at the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference in Rajkot on 11 January 2026, Mukesh Ambani shared that the company plans to use its upcoming AI data centre in Jamnagar, Gujarat, to develop an AI language platform. The goal of this initiative is to make AI services more efficient, accessible, and productive.
Ambani highlighted that Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) has already invested over ₹3.5 trillion in Gujarat over the past five years. Looking ahead, the company plans to significantly scale up its commitment, with investments of up to ₹7 trillion planned for the next five years.
He also announced that RIL will be setting up a new hospital in Jamnagar, in the Saurashtra region, and will further expand its educational initiatives, aligning with the central government’s broader vision for development.
