JioBlackRock Prism SIF to Launch as Regular Plan; Mutual Funds Rollout Expected Soon

JioBlackRock is set to introduce its Prism Specialised Investment Fund (SIF) as a regular plan, signalling a strategic shift toward broader distribution. The move highlights the company’s intent to go beyond its earlier digital-first, direct-to-investor approach and tap into mutual fund distributors (MFDs) to expand its reach. The firm has already begun onboarding distributors and strengthening its network to support this rollout.

The company plans to initially launch the SIF through this expanded distribution model, with mutual fund offerings also expected to follow in regular plans. This marks a significant evolution in its strategy, combining its technology-driven platform with a more traditional advisory-led channel to reach a wider investor base, including those who prefer guided investment decisions.

While JioBlackRock continues to emphasize its digital-first philosophy, the inclusion of distributors reflects a hybrid approach aimed at scaling operations and improving accessibility. By integrating both direct and regular investment channels, the company is positioning itself to cater to a broader spectrum of investors as it expands its footprint in India’s mutual fund industry.
