Urban Company’s IPO was a book-built issue aggregating ₹1,900.24 crore. The issue comprised a fresh issue of 4.58 crore equity shares amounting to ₹472.24 crore and an offer for sale of 13.86 crore equity shares aggregating ₹1,428.00 crore.
The IPO opened for subscription on September 10, 2025, and closed on September 12, 2025. The allotment was finalized on September 15, 2025, and the company’s shares were listed on both the BSE and NSE on September 17, 2025.
The price band for the IPO was fixed at ₹103 per share. The lot size for an application was 145 shares. Retail investors were required to invest a minimum of ₹14,935 for one lot (145 shares) at the upper price band. For non-institutional investors, the minimum application size for small NIIs (sNII) was 14 lots (2,030 shares), amounting to ₹2,09,090, while for big NIIs (bNII), it was 67 lots (9,715 shares), requiring an investment of ₹10,00,645.
The issue also included a reservation of up to 2,65,957 equity shares for eligible employees, offered at a discount of ₹9 per share to the issue price.
Kotak Mahindra Capital Co. Ltd. acted as the Book Running Lead Manager for the IPO, while MUFG Intime India Pvt. Ltd. served as the registrar to the issue.

Urban Company’s platform enables consumers to book a wide range of services, including cleaning, plumbing, electrical work, appliance repair, beauty treatments, and massage therapy. These services are delivered by trained and background-verified professionals to ensure consistent quality and reliability.
The company has expanded into home solutions with the launch of water purifiers and electronic door locks under its proprietary brand, “Native.” Urban Company also supports service professionals through training programs, access to tools and consumables, financing, insurance, and branding, thereby enhancing service quality and improving earning potential.
Urban Company is the leading online full-stack home and beauty services platform by net transaction value for the nine months ended December 2024. The Indian home services market, valued at USD 59.2 billion in 2024, is expected to grow to USD 97.4 billion by 2029. With online penetration remaining below 1%, the sector presents significant long-term growth opportunities.
For the three months ended June 30, 2025, the platform recorded an average of 54,347 monthly active service professionals, defined as professionals who completed at least one service in a given month. As of June 30, 2025, the company operated across more than 12,000 service micro-markets.
